The Estate Swing E-S1000H is a heavy-duty, single-arm solar gate opener that’s simple to install and operate. This solar model includes a 30 Watt solar panel that converts sunlight into stored battery power, and the control board features an industry-low standby draw (under 10mA), making it one of the most efficient DIY solar gate opener systems available. A roomy control box accommodates a larger Group size 24 battery (battery not included), providing extended run time during power outages or periods of low sunlight. A fully charged Group size 24 deep cycle battery will supply up to 300 cycles, or roughly 30 days of use on a basic system, before needing a recharge. Mechanically designed to handle heavy or long gates while remaining gentle on lighter gates, the opener delivers a 500mm stroke and supports gates weighing up to 600 lbs or measuring up to 16 ft in length. It allows a maximum opening of 110 degrees and is compatible with wood, steel, aluminum, vinyl, chain link and other gate materials. For pull-to-open installations, the required gate post or column size is a maximum of 6" x 6", or the gate can be mounted 3" from the rear face of the column.
