The Estate Swing E-S1000H is a heavy-duty, single-arm solar gate opener powered by a 10 watt panel. This kit includes a free extra remote and is designed for easy DIY installation and operation. The solar-series control board delivers one of the lowest standby currents in the market for DIY systems — under 10mA — to help extend battery life. Sunlight captured by the 10 watt panel is converted to electricity and stored in the battery. The generous control box can accommodate a larger Group size 24 battery (battery not included), giving more operating cycles during power outages or extended periods of low sunlight. A fully charged Group size 24 deep cycle battery will provide up to 300 cycles or an average of 30 days usage on a basic system before a recharge is required. With a 500mm stroke length, the E-S1000H is built to handle heavy or long gates while remaining gentle enough for lighter gates. It works with wood, steel, aluminum, vinyl, chain link and other gate materials. The opener supports gates up to 600 lbs. in weight or up to 16 ft. in length and opens to a maximum of 110 degrees. For pull-to-open installations, the gate post or column should be no larger than 6"x6", or the gate may be mounted 3" from the rear face of the column.
