No rating yet(0 ratings)The Eskimo E40 electric Fishing auger, model 45750, is listed as Red, Unisex and 8-Inch (sku-5008963332; UPC 012642047503). Its steel-bit design weighs under 18 LBS at 17.5 lbs, described as the lightest steel auger in its class. The 40V motor can drill up to 1300 inches of ice per charge. The Turbo cutting system has multi-edge blades for new holes and re-drilling old ones.
A 4 amp-hour lithium battery is designed for cold-weather use, and a variable-speed trigger allows slower drilling to reduce ice-shaving mess inside shelters or wheelhouses. A reverse toggle switch flushes slush down a freshly cut hole, and an LED light illuminates the area beneath the powerhead during use. The 2-amp charger recharges a 4Ah battery in approximately 2 hours.
The auger and powerhead carry a 5-year limited warranty; the battery has a 3-year limited warranty.
