Built on the same space-saving CCH splice cassette platform, this preloaded, pre-routed pigtailed cassette is designed to speed fusion splicing for both individual and ribbon fiber pigtails. Each unit ships with a 3m pigtail assembly and supports all existing CCH panel connector options to simplify installation and maintain compatibility. The assemblies feature 900 µm protection at the connector panel for increased durability, while the internal fibers use colored 250 µm for easier identification and splicing; strain relief is applied at the factory. By eliminating the need for separate splice trays or housings, the pigtailed cassette lets technicians perform splicing outside the rack in a convenient workspace and reduces field labor through a streamlined component layout. The modular cassette design provides individual access to fibers without disturbing neighboring cassettes in the housing. Included with each cassette: the pigtailed CCH adapter panel of your choice, mounting rails (one rail for CCH-01U/2U/3U housings, two rails for CCH-04U housings), grommets and cable ties for extra strain relief, protective braided tubing for incoming cable, and the appropriate quantity and type of heat-shrink splice protectors.
