It is intended for cold plunge tubs, ice baths and spas, and the housing can also be used in whole-home systems with city or well water. The filters capture sediment, rust, dirt, sand and other visible particles.
For daily plunge or spa use, the filters should be replaced monthly. A digital build guide covers assembly of a cold plunge filtration system with ozone venturi injection; the venturi is sold separately. The housing has 3/4" NPT ports with OD 26.7mm, ID 23.7mm, pitch 1.814mm and 14 TPI. The kit includes two 3/4" threaded hose barb fittings, clamps, a mounting bracket, screws and a housing wrench.
Hose barbs are recommended only for low-pressure plunge or spa use, not whole-home setups.
