This Coca-Cola Silver Cherry Coke coin contains 1 oz of .999 fine silver and is part of the Collectible Coins and Bullion category. Mintage is limited to 4,500 pieces. Shaped like a Cherry Coke can, it comes in an ice-cube-shaped capsule and a custom can package with a certificate of authenticity on the back. The obverse has a colorized retro Coca-Cola Cherry can design with red and white stripes.

The reverse shows the Niue coat of arms, denomination, serial number and metal content. The coin is backed by the Niue government and manufactured in Switzerland by PAMP in partnership with Coca-Cola. PAMP also makes jewelry, commemorative legal tender coins and licensed collectibles.

Cherry Coke was tested at the World's Fair in 1982 and released in bottles and cans in 1985 as Coca-Cola's first flavored extension. It is sold in 36 countries, including Diet Cherry Coke and Cherry Coke Zero varieties. Coca-Cola dates to 1886, when pharmacist John Pemberton invented the drink in Atlanta, Georgia. His bookkeeper, Frank M. Robinson, named it and designed its original script logo.
