Coca-Cola Silver 5 Cent Round sku-6913055776 469674248116

This Coca-Cola Silver round, sku-6913055776, is listed under Collectible Coins and Bullion with UPC 469674248116. It contains 1 oz of .999 fine silver. The obverse shows a vintage 5 cent bottle advertisement; the reverse reads "DRINK COCA-COLA®, THE PAUSE THAT REFRESHES, COKE®." Multiples of 20 come in a tube with a custom Coca-Cola label. APMEX guarantees the round.

The design draws on Coca-Cola advertising from the 1930s and 1940s, a period that included the start of international advertising and a radio program in 1930. Lettie Pate Evans joined the company's board in 1935. A California price increase in 1946 ended the long-running nickel Coke, and "Coke" became a registered trademark in 1945.

The collection also includes colorized rounds and bars, a 2-round set, a delivery driver set with a yellow truck, and a piece shaped like a vintage tin sign. Coca-Cola began in 1886, when pharmacist John Pemberton invented the drink in Atlanta. His bookkeeper, Frank M. Robinson, named it and designed its original script logo.
