Circular Polarizing (CPL) Filter — Compatible with Rokinon 85mm f/1.4 AS IF UMC K

Designed for use with the Rokinon 85mm f/1.4 AS IF UMC K, this circular polarizing (CPL) filter reduces reflections and boosts color and contrast. Its ultra-slim aluminum frame avoids vignetting while maintaining rotation capabilities for adjusting levels. A nonslip upper rim makes installation, rotation and removal quick and secure. The glass features double-sided, multi-layered coatings that are anti-oil, anti-dust, anti-soil and resistant to scratches and water. As a circular CPL, it removes unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water, glass, etc., and can enhance color and contrast—often increasing contrast and saturation in blue skies and white clouds. CPL filters arrange and filter directionally polarized light perpendicularly to the reflected light, allowing for the absorption of much of the light; this clears up haze in distant landscapes and yields more saturated, vivid colors. The filter delivers its strongest effect when used at a 90° angle from the sun.
