Digital Nc Camera Accessories CPL Filter sku-13491959037

Digital Nc's Black circular CPL filter fits the Sony Carl Zeiss Planar T* 50mm F1.4 ZA SSM. It reduces reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water and glass, as well as haze in distant landscapes, while increasing color saturation and contrast. It can deepen blue skies and make white clouds stand out; the effect is strongest at a 90° angle to the sun.

The ultra-slim aluminum frame helps prevent vignetting and rotates for polarization adjustment. A nonslip upper rim aids installation, rotation and removal. The optics have double-sided, multi-layer anti-oil, anti-dust and anti-soil coatings and resist scratches and water. A CPL filter works by filtering directionally polarized light perpendicular to reflected light.
