Circular Polarizer (CPL) for Sony FE 28-70mm F3.5-5.6 OSS

Designed for use with the Sony FE 28-70mm F3.5-5.6 OSS, this circular polarizing (CPL) filter reduces unwanted reflections and boosts color and contrast. Its ultra-slim aluminum frame avoids vignetting while maintaining rotation capabilities for adjusting levels, and a nonslip upper rim makes installation, rotation and removal quick and secure. The glass features double-sided, multi-layered coatings that are anti-oil, anti-dust, anti-soil, scratch & water resistant. CPL filters work by arranging and filtering directionally polarized light perpendicular to the reflected light so much of that light is absorbed, which clears haze in distant landscapes and produces more saturated, vivid colors. They are especially effective at increasing contrast and saturation in blue skies and white clouds, with the strongest effect when used at a 90° angle from the sun.
