Circular Polarizer (CPL) for Sony 28-75mm F2.8 SAM - Ultra-Slim Frame

Made to fit the Sony 28-75mm F2.8 SAM, this circular polarizing (CPL) filter uses an ultra-slim aluminum frame to prevent vignetting while still permitting full rotation for precise polarization adjustment. A nonslip upper rim provides secure, easy installation, rotation and removal. The glass features double-sided, multi-layered coatings and is treated to be anti-oil, anti-dust, anti-soil, scratch resistant and water resistant. CPL filters remove unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water and glass, increase color depth and boost contrast—commonly used to enrich blue skies and accentuate white clouds. By aligning and filtering directionally polarized light perpendicular to reflected light, the filter allows much of that reflected light to be absorbed, clearing haze in distant landscapes and delivering more saturated, vivid colors. The effect is strongest when the subject is roughly at a 90° angle to the sun.
