Circular Polarizer (CPL) for Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM

Built with an ultra-slim aluminum frame to prevent vignetting while preserving full rotational adjustment. A nonslip upper rim makes it easy to install, rotate and remove. The optics feature double sided, multi-layered coatings and are anti-oil, anti-dust, anti-soil, scratch & water resistant. This circular CPL filter removes unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water, glass, etc., while enhancing color and contrast. Frequently used to boost contrast and saturation in blue skies and white clouds, it also clears haze in distant landscapes for more saturated, vivid colors. CPL filters work by arranging and filtering directionally polarized light perpendicular to reflected light, allowing much of that light to be absorbed. For the strongest effect position the filter at a 90° angle from the sun.
