Circular Polarizer (CPL) Filter — Compatible with Sony FE 85mm F1.4 GM II

Designed for use with the Sony FE 85mm F1.4 GM II, this circular polarizing (CPL) filter reduces reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water and glass while boosting color saturation and contrast—especially effective for deepening blue skies and defining white clouds. The ultra-slim aluminum frame is engineered to prevent vignetting on wide apertures and still allows smooth rotation for precise polarization adjustment. A nonslip upper rim makes mounting, turning and removing the filter quick and secure. Optical surfaces feature double-sided, multi-layer coatings and are treated to be anti-oil, anti-dust, anti-soil, scratch resistant and water resistant, helping keep the glass clean and durable in the field. How it works: the CPL arranges and filters directional polarized light perpendicular to reflected light, absorbing much of those reflections and clearing haze in distant landscapes to deliver more vivid, saturated colors. The filter produces its strongest effect when positioned at a 90° angle from the sun.
