Circular Polarizer (CPL) Filter — Compatible With Sony 135mm F2.8 (T4.5) STF

Designed for use with the Sony 135mm F2.8 (T4.5) STF, this circular polarizing (CPL) filter reduces unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water and glass while boosting color saturation and contrast. It’s especially effective at deepening blue skies and whitening clouds, cutting haze in distant landscapes to deliver richer, more vivid tones. Built with an ultra-slim aluminum frame to avoid vignetting, the filter still provides smooth rotation so you can fine-tune leveling and polarization. A nonslip upper rim makes mounting, rotating and removing the filter quick and secure. Optical surfaces feature double-sided, multi-layered coatings and are anti-oil, anti-dust, anti-soil, and scratch & water resistant for reliable performance in the field. The CPL works by arranging and filtering directionally polarized light perpendicular to the reflected light, allowing much of that reflected light to be absorbed. For the strongest effect position the filter at a 90° angle from the sun.
