On APS-C cameras this lens provides an approximate full-frame equivalent of 88–336mm, delivering versatile telephoto reach for portraits, landscapes, and travel work. Optical design highlights include two UD (Ultra-low Dispersion) glass elements, one aspheric element, and Canon Super Spectra Coating (SSC) to help minimize ghosting and flare for improved image quality.
