Nitrate nitrogen is directly available to plants, is neither volatile nor adsorbed to soil particles, and can improve uptake of potassium, calcium and magnesium.

Calcium supports cell walls, crop quality, shelf life, marketable yield, root conditions and tolerance to pest, disease and heat stress. Calcium deficiency may appear as blossom-end rot in tomatoes, tip burn in lettuce or internal rust spot in potatoes. Calcium reaches plants through the transpiration stream, so a fully water-soluble supply in the root zone matters.

Derived from Ammonium Calcium Nitrate Double Salt, CalciNit can be mixed with water-soluble fertilizers. Do not mix calcium, magnesium and MasterBlend Mix together directly at high concentrations, as the calcium can precipitate.
