Atticus 540007 Pramaxis MEC Lawn Care sku-2838397298

Atticus 540007 Pramaxis MEC is a plant growth regulator for Lawn Care, supplied in an 8 oz bottle. It contains 11.3% trinexapac-ethyl, the same active ingredient as Primo Maxx. The source says professional turf managers have used this active ingredient for more than 30 years to manage growth and improve turfgrass quality. Pramaxis MEC slows vertical growth to reduce mowing frequency and clippings.

It promotes root and rhizome growth; with good turf care practices, treated areas may better withstand mowing, drought, heat and disease. It is labeled for cool- and warm-season turfgrass on lawns, golf courses and athletic fields, including areas that require frequent mowing or are difficult to mow.

Its microemulsion concentrate blends into solution, resists settling after mixing and is compatible in tank mixes with many pesticides and liquid fertilizers. Read the label for compatibility and application instructions. To extend a marking agent's visibility, Pramaxis MEC may be applied before or with it.

When using a latex-based marking agent, mix Pramaxis MEC with water first, then add the marking agent; follow both labels. It is not available for sale in Alaska, Hawaii, New York or Vermont, and not every product is registered in every state. Always read and follow label instructions.
