Cabot Creamery O.V.T. White Gallon 16701 sku-173712642

Cabot Creamery model 16701 is a White, Gallon-size O.V.T. solid-color oil stain, listed under Wood Stains, Coatings & Finishes. The title identifies it as 140.0006701.007 O.V.T. 140.000.007 oil stain, flat, White, liquid, 1 gal. It covers like paint while performing like a stain, hides the surface beneath, and resists cracking, peeling and blistering.

The flat finish repels water and resists mildew. Apply it to new, previously painted or stained wood, whether smooth or rough, including siding, shingles, shakes and trim. It is suited to well-seasoned cedar, fir, pine, cypress, spruce and redwood. Problem-Solver wood cleaner and brightener can address mildew, mold and tannin bleed; Problem-Solver wood stripper removes oil-based finishes.

On wood prone to extractives, use Problem-Solver primer as a basecoat to resist tannin bleed. Apply evenly by brush, roller or sprayer. Approximate coverage per gallon is 400 to 500 square feet on smooth new wood and 150 to 250 square feet on rough new wood. SKU sku-173712642; UPC 080351167010.
