Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 — Photo Organizer & Editor

Overview: Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 provides an approachable, powerful workspace for organizing, editing, creating, and sharing photos and videos. The interface includes large, easy-to-see icons and a helpful action bar, and lets you work in Quick, Guided, or Expert editing modes depending on your needs.

Organize and find photos faster: Use organizer views and visual tags for people, places, pets, events, and objects to sort and locate images intuitively. See every photo of a subject instantly by clicking its visual tag. View pictures and movie clips on a map to relive trips by location.

Easy import and scanning: Move images from a memory card to your computer using preset import settings, or scan multiple prints at once — Elements will automatically straighten and save each scan as a separate file. Three editing modes for every skill level: Start in Quick mode for fast enhancements, follow step-by-step Guided edits for more advanced techniques, or switch to Expert mode for full control and advanced options.

Fast fixes and retouching: Apply one-step corrections like teeth whitening and enhanced skies. Remove unwanted elements with a single stroke using the Spot Healing Brush. Combine parts of different photos easily and cleanly — edge-refinement tools tackle difficult areas such as hair to produce natural composites.

Photomerge features: Match the style of one photo to another with Photomerge technology. Create ideal group shots by merging the best expressions and poses from a series of images with Photomerge Group Shot. Build seamless, fuller panoramas using Photomerge Panorama’s blending and stitching that fills jagged edges when joining horizontal or vertical shots.

Recompose without distortion: Change a photo’s orientation or size to fit a specific frame. The auto-recompose tool crops and adjusts images — even from landscape to portrait or vice versa — while preserving important subjects like people and buildings. Creative effects and graphics: Quickly transform photos into illustrations with Comic, Graphic Novel, and Pen & Ink filters.

Import and apply additional effects and styles from popular photo sites and blogs. Text, layers, and professional effects: Add titles and labels directly on images and edit them later; the Font menu shows characters for each typeface. Use layer masks to reveal portions of one photo through another for sophisticated, layered compositions.

Guided effects for stylized looks: Get step-by-step help to create tilt-shift miniatures, attention-grabbing vignettes, and dramatic high- or low-key effects that emphasize whites or blacks. Share and print: Present memories in animated online albums that combine photos and video with music.

Order prints, cards, and photo books or upload creations to integrated online services for easy printing and sharing. Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 brings advanced Photoshop technology into an accessible product to organize, enhance, and showcase your photos with speed and creativity.
