ACR Electronics EXPOLASTAG OLAS Tag sku-14275566966 Other

ACR Electronics EXPOLASTAG is an OLAS wearable crew tracker for Boating, with catalog color Other and a physical orange-and-black finish. The OLAS app detects a broken virtual tether within 8 seconds, sounds an alarm, records the incident time and GPS location, and provides visual directions and bearing data for man-overboard recovery.

Solo mode requires a 2G phone signal and can text GPS coordinates to an emergency contact. One phone or tablet can track up to 6 transmitters; an unlimited number of phones or tablets can track each transmitter. An OLAS CORE or Guardian can expand tracking to 15 transmitters. The tag can attach to a wrist, life jacket, pet collar, flotation device or personal locator beacon.

It comes with a silicone wrist strap, stainless steel buckle and pre-installed, user-replaceable CR2477 battery. It supports vessels up to 40 feet long; an Extender can increase coverage from 40 ft to 80 ft. The tag is waterproof to IP 67, uses Bluetooth 4.1 and has an app-based low-battery indicator. Battery life is listed as 3,500 hours when armed, or 4 months; it can be powered off when unused.

Tag size: 1.81 x 1.38 x 0.60 inches (46 x 35 x 15 mm). Strap size: 10.87 x 0.88 x 0.04 inches (276 x 22 x 1 mm). Weight is 0.7 oz (20g) without the strap and 1.06 oz (30g) with it. Activation is manual or automatic through proximity sensing. The free iOS and Android app supports multiple tags, return navigation and a VHF alert script.

The tag also works with the Guardian engine kill switch, CORE base station and Extender. It is not buoyant. The listing includes a 1 Year warranty and FCC, RED and CE approvals.
