Service Caster SCC-SS316TTL30S820-POD-4 (sku-13867571778; UPC 734005507539) is a Black Furniture Hardware caster set with an 8" Wheel. The 8 Inch 316SS polyolefin swivel caster set has Delrin bearings and brakes. In the Series #30 range, a 4" wheel has a 5-5/8" mounting height and a 500 lbs capacity per caster; a 5" wheel has a 6-1/2" height and a 650 lbs capacity; a 6" wheel has a 7-1/2" height and a 700 lbs capacity; and an 8" wheel has a 9-1/2" height and a 900 lbs capacity.

The top plate measures 4" x 4-1/2", with a bolt hole pattern of 2-5/8" x 3-5/8" to 3" x 3". It can be bolted or welded on. Brake options include a top lock brake (TLB), total lock brake (TTL), and bolt-on swivel lock (BSL). The TLB locks the wheel by pressing on its tread. The TTL locks both the wheel and swivel.

Insert the BSL into one of four notches on the swivel raceway to make a swivel caster rigid for straight-line movement at 90-degree angles.
