Kidde sku-14999514263 467527536564 White Smoke Alarm

This White Kidde smoke alarm 2 pack, SKU sku-14999514263, uses photoelectric sensors to detect visible particles from smoldering fires and reduce nuisance alarms from cooking or shower steam. Each alarm runs on 120-Volt AC wiring with a sealed 10-year lithium backup battery for outages. The battery lasts the life of the alarm; a low-battery chirp signals that the alarm needs replacement.

Detection triggers an 85-decibel alarm and red LED. Its 3 status LEDs show green for normal operation, amber for a fault and red for smoke or fire. The alarm self-tests its internal components, but you should also use the button once per week to check operation. The Test-Hush button can silence false alarms.

Installation involves mounting the ceiling bracket, feeding through and connecting the existing wires, then twisting the alarm into place. Interconnection is model-dependent; consult the user guide before connecting alarms. The 10-year limited manufacturer warranty starts when the alarm is powered on; if that date is unknown, assume the alarm should be replaced.

The warranty does not guarantee battery performance. UL Listed and tested to UL 217 9th Edition, FCC, CSFM and California Prop 65 requirements. UPC: 467527536564.
