Xpression Pet shelters Yellow reptile sku-5129235817

Xpression Pet shelters, sku-5129235817, is listed as Yellow Reptile Supplies in Small - 6 count (UPC 695990694485). The listing describes Zoo Med Mopani Wood, an African hardwood for climbing, hiding and other use in terrariums or aquariums. It is collected from dead tree roots without harming trees, sandblasted smooth, mottled in color and heavy. Each piece differs in size and shape.

Small pieces measure 5-8" long, medium pieces 9-12" long and large pieces 15-18" long. In aquariums, the wood sinks immediately and resists rotting. For a terrarium, place it securely so it cannot fall on your pet. For an aquarium, soak it separately and change the water daily to reduce tannins, which discolor water and lower pH.

It is ready when the water becomes light tea-colored or clear; extra carbon can help remove remaining discoloration. Choose a piece that fits your animal and habitat.
