It uses long-range LoRa connectivity to maintain reliable communication with your YoLink Hub up to 1/4 mile in open air, making it suitable for larger properties and hard-to-reach locations. Monitor water use with the YoLink app: view daily, monthly, and total water usage plus daily flush counts, inspect interactive charts on hourly, daily, and monthly timelines, and export data for detailed tracking. Set personalized daily limits for water usage, flush counts, and duration; receive alerts if limits are exceeded and rely on the automatic valve shutoff to stop damage from leaks or excessive use. An external detection probe provides fast leak detection and dependable protection. Alert options are fully customizable, including continuous alerts and adjustable sound alarms (enable or disable beep sound). Get real-time notifications via app push, SMS, or email so you’re informed whether you’re home or away. If power or internet go out, the LeakStop can still close the valve when a leak is detected or daily limits are exceeded — this automatic shutoff is enabled by default but can be adjusted. Installation is quick and simple — no plumber or special tools required. The unit also performs regular built-in valve maintenance to help ensure reliable operation over time. For smart home integration, LeakStop works with Alexa, Google Assistant, IFTTT, and Home Assistant.
