Compact MCIO 8i to PCIe 5.0 x8 adapter that converts a SFF-TA-1016 MCIO interface into a PCIE5.0 PCI-Express 8x connection for VROC-capable systems. The converter installs internally through the MCIO interface and allows one detachable, PCIE PCI-Express 8x motherboard to be connected. This adapter is intended for use only with motherboards that offer detachable PCI-E channels; if the motherboard does not provide PCIe signal splitting it will recognize only one disk. The unit can manage the operation of two disks depending on the motherboard's PCIe channel configuration. For reliable continuous operation it includes multiple sets of high-power DC modules.
