The X872 is a USB 3.0 to NVMe expansion board designed for RPi 4 that provides a simple way to add high-performance M.2 storage. This M.2 NVMe Solid Disk shield is a compact storage solution for RPi 4 and supports M.2 NVMe SSDs up to 4TB. It accepts a range of M.2 module lengths including 2280, 2260, 2242 and 2230. The Fast Speed USB 3.0 port delivers transfer rates up to 5Gbps, enabling much quicker movement of large files. Built-in LED indicators show read/write activity, and the board supports booting the operating system from the Solid Disk for faster application launches and quicker file copying.
