The pendant has stars on the front and John 15:13 on the back: "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends." The flag measures 1.50 inches tall, 0.75 inch wide, and 0.13 inch thick. Stainless steel chain lengths are 16, 18, 20, 22, and 24 inches.

Shields of Strength is based in Texas and says its stainless steel contains no nickel, does not irritate skin, and does not tarnish. The company provides a 100% lifetime guarantee on its stainless steel jewelry. Its gold-plated jewelry uses real gold and has a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase; its gold jewelry is stamped as genuine 14K gold.

The company asks customers with a problem to contact its support team and hopes the jewelry serves as a reminder of God's Word.
