Installation requires removing the dashboard and connecting the decoder to the original CD host unit with the supplied wiring harness. After installation the factory MMI remains intact while gaining new smart functions. Core features: Supports wireless and wired Apple CarPlay and wireless and wired Android Auto, plus MirrorLink.

Enables streaming apps such as YouTube, TV news, and viewing Photos, and adds Navigation. Voice control is supported via Siri and Google (OK Google). Steering wheel and controls: The decoder integrates with certain original controls — it supports the voice control button, Tel button and voice buttons for the CarPlay interface; other steering wheel buttons are not supported.

Camera support: Works with the factory original reverse camera and parking radar, and is compatible with aftermarket reverse cameras and 360° camera systems.
