It fits a 25mm diameter stanchion and fastens with a Velcro strap for quick installation and removal. It guides the continuous line of a flying-sail or spinnaker furler. The fairlead opens to accept an already spliced line, and the fairlead and line can be stored together.
It has no moving parts, reducing maintenance. The fairlead is made from 316L stainless steel and weighs 0.397 lb (180 g). Its diameter is 0.98" (25 mm). Working Load (WL) applies to nautical use; Working Load Limit (WLL) applies only to industrial use. The stated safety factor is 5 times the breaking load, with WLL calculated as breaking load / 5. Sold individually.
