Analog desktop radio scanner with a 200-channel memory organized into 10 separate storage banks. Dedicated service banks make it easy to search preprogrammed frequencies by category — Marine, Fire/Police, Aircraft, Ham and Weather. Skywarn bank gives instant access to storm spotter network frequencies so you can monitor conditions as they develop, often before media or emergency management announcements. Backlit LCD ensures clear readouts and simplifies programming in low-light environments. Lock-out function allows you to skip specified channels or frequencies during scanning or searching. The scanner can search for new or unlisted frequencies starting from any user-specified frequency. SAME/FIPS weather alert displays the weather event and triggers an alert for selected county or counties. Stored frequencies remain in memory for an extended period even without batteries. Scanning includes a 2 sec delay before moving to the next channel to allow time for replies. Priority channel mode checks one designated channel every 2 sec while the unit is scanning. Data cloning enables transfer of programmed settings to another WS1025 scanner.
