The whipless design avoids the base breakage associated with conventional whip lights. The lights have an IP68 waterproof rating, die-cast aluminum housings and convex lenses for use around mud and splashes. They fit 9-30V DC vehicles, including UTVs, ATVs, SXS vehicles, trucks, golf carts, RZRs, Can-Am and Polaris vehicles, dune buggies, Kawasaki and Maverick x3 vehicles, sand rails, motorcycles and boats.

Their compact size allows mounting on a front or rear bumper, roll bar or roof rack. They can be used as safety, visibility, spot or chase lights, or as search beacons to locate other off-road drivers at night in desert or forest terrain, including in dust, fog, haze, rain and snow.
