The Eugene Color Postal Scales instrument head, SKU sku-6741622771, connects to digital sensors using RS485 over four or six lines. It supports 1 to 16 sensors at a communication distance of about 1000 meters, uses the Shanghai Yaohua sensor protocol and supplies DC 10V at 0.8A maximum. Optional interfaces include 4～20mA, switch value, Modbus and a wireless large-screen interface.

Functions include automatic, semi-automatic and manual angle-difference correction; sensor address changes and single-sensor data viewing; automatic switching of the second-grade division value; nonlinear and calibration-error correction; scheduled shutdown; and an electronic seal. Two independent full-duplex UARTs connect to computers, PLCs or other equipment, with optional communication methods.

The unit has a 20mA current-loop large-screen port with serial output and a transmission distance of ≤2000 meters, a standard parallel printer interface, one switch input and one relay output. It can store, check and delete weighing records, with power-off protection.

Storage covers 1024 vehicle license plates and tare weights, 255 Chinese product numbers, 255 Chinese customer numbers, 255 Chinese remark numbers and 4096 weighing records. Compatible wide-line printers are LQ-300K, KX-P1131, KX-P1121 and DS-300. POS58 and T58D thermal micro-printers and a panel-type micro-printer are optional. Serial port 1 is RS232/RS485 adaptive; serial port 2 is RS232.
