This sale is for the WD800JD-60LSA5 2061-701335-E00 AM WD SATA 3.5 hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive included. We stock a large quantity of PCBs, so the board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended for hard drive repair and data recovery, this PCB should be used only after confirming it will resolve your issue. Most replacement PCBs contain unique configuration data stored in a ROM memory chip; that information is required for the drive to operate correctly. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can normally perform the transfer. For customers spending $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service that includes either moving the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the new circuit board with the correct ROM data.
