This listing is for the hard drive PCB / logic board only — no Hard Disk Drive is included. We maintain a large inventory of PCBs, so the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. These circuit boards are intended for HDD repair and data-recovery work. Most hard drive PCBs contain drive-specific information stored in a ROM "memory" chip; that data is required for the drive to function properly. The ROM chip or its stored data must be moved to or programmed into the replacement board. If the chip can be physically transferred, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant.
