This sale is for the hard drive circuit board / logic board only — the hard drive itself is NOT included. We keep a large inventory of PCBs, so the item you receive may differ slightly from the photo. These PCBs are intended for use in hard drive repair or data recovery. Before purchasing, confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most hard drive circuit boards store essential, unique information in a ROM (memory) chip; that data is required for correct drive operation and must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant; alternatively, for purchases of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service that either moves the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
