This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we stock a large quantity of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery or repair of a compatible hard drive. Before purchasing, confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your problem by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Important: most hard drive PCBs contain unique ROM ("memory") data required for proper operation. That ROM chip, or its contents, must be transferred to the replacement board. If transferring the chip is feasible, a local computer technician can usually perform the task. For customers who spend $60 or more, we provide a complimentary adaptation service that either moves the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
