This sale is for the hard drive printed circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and HDD repair. Before purchasing, confirm that a replacement PCB is the correct fix by consulting our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. IMPORTANT: many PCBs store unique configuration data in a ROM memory chip that is required for proper drive operation. That ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If physical chip transfer is possible, a local computer technician can usually perform the procedure. For orders of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service that will either transplant the ROM chip onto your new PCB or reprogram the replacement board with the required ROM data.
