This sale is for the hard drive PCB / logic board only — NO hard drive included. Because we keep a large inventory of PCBs, the exact board you receive may vary slightly from the photos. Intended use: data recovery or hard drive repair. Before purchasing, confirm that a PCB swap will address your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Important: most HDD circuit boards contain a unique ROM "memory" chip that stores required drive-specific information. That ROM chip, or its data, must be transferred to the replacement PCB for proper operation. If the chip can be moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant. For orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service, which covers either moving the ROM chip onto the new board or reprogramming the replacement PCB with the correct ROM data.
