This listing includes the hard drive printed circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — the hard drive itself is not included. Important: many PCBs store unique configuration data in the ROM “memory” chip. That ROM data is required for correct drive operation and must be transferred to the replacement board or reprogrammed onto it. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a qualified local computer technician can usually perform the transfer.
