This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Due to the large quantity of PCBs we stock, the exact board you receive may vary slightly from the photo. This PCB is intended for use in hard drive repair or data-recovery work. To confirm a replacement board will resolve your problem, follow our Hard Drive Diagnostics Guide and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most hard drive circuit boards contain unique data stored in a ROM ("memory") chip; that data is required for correct drive operation and must be transferred to the replacement board. If possible, a local computer technician can move the ROM chip to the new PCB. For purchases of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service that either transfers the ROM chip onto the replacement board or reprograms the new PCB with the correct ROM data.
