Item is the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive included. Because we maintain a large inventory, the actual PCB you receive may vary slightly from the picture. This board is intended for use in hard drive repair or data recovery. Before ordering, confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and check compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Note: most hard drive PCBs contain unique configuration data stored in a ROM (memory) chip; this ROM data is required for proper operation. You must transfer the ROM chip or its data to the replacement board. If feasible, a local computer technician can transplant the ROM chip. For purchases of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service that either relocates the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
