This sale is for the WD740GD-00FLA1, 2061-001213-100 AFD WD SATA 3.5 PCB (hard drive logic board) ONLY — the hard drive itself is not included. Because we maintain a large inventory of PCBs, the exact board you receive may vary slightly from the photo. Purpose: This circuit board is intended for hard drive repair and data recovery work. Before ordering, please confirm that replacing the PCB is the correct fix by following our hard drive diagnostics guide. Important: Many WD PCBs store unique information in a ROM "memory" chip that is required for the drive to operate normally. That ROM (or its contents) must be moved or reprogrammed onto the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically transferred, a qualified local technician can usually perform the soldering.
