This listing is for the hard drive PCB / logic board ONLY — the hard drive itself is not included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the actual board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. These circuit boards are intended for hard drive repair and data recovery work. Most hard drive PCBs contain unique ROM "memory" data that is required for the drive to function properly; the ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If physically moving the ROM chip is feasible, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer.
