This listing is for a hard drive PCB (logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. We stock a large number of PCBs, so the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the pictured unit. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Important: most boards contain unique configuration data in the ROM ("memory") chip that is required for the drive to function. That ROM chip or its data must be transferred or reprogrammed onto the replacement PCB. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can typically perform the transplant.
