Product is the hard drive PCB / logic board ONLY — no hard drive is included. Due to a large inventory, the PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. This board is supplied for hard drive repair and data recovery tasks. Prior to ordering, confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our Hard Drive Diagnostics Guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Many PCBs store essential, unique data in the ROM "memory" chip; that ROM data is required for proper drive operation and must be transferred or reprogrammed on the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer. For purchases of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service that includes either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the board with the correct ROM data.
