This sale includes the hard drive circuit board / logic board only — no hard drive is included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Designed for use in data recovery and hard drive repair, this PCB is intended as a replacement part for affected drives. Before purchasing, consult our hard drive diagnostics guide to determine whether a PCB swap will resolve your issue, and verify compatibility via the Donor Matching Guide. Most replacement PCBs contain unique configuration stored in a ROM memory chip; that ROM data is required for proper drive operation and must be transferred to the new board. If feasible, a local computer technician can physically move the ROM chip to the replacement PCB. For customers spending $60 or more, we provide a complimentary adaptation service that includes either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new board or reprogramming the replacement PCB with the correct ROM data.
