This sale is for the hard drive PCB / logic board only — no hard drive is included. Because we stock large quantities of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Before buying, confirm that replacing the board will solve your issue by consulting our Hard Drive Diagnostics Guide and checking compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Note: most hard drive PCBs contain unique information stored in a ROM "memory" chip that is required for the drive to operate properly. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If transferring the chip is feasible, a local computer technician can typically perform that task. For orders of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service which covers either moving the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
