This sale is for the hard drive printed circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — the hard drive itself is not included. Because we stock a large quantity of PCBs, the specific board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: replacement PCB for hard drive repair or data recovery. Before ordering, please review our hard drive diagnostics guide to confirm that a PCB swap is the correct repair. Also consult the Donor Matching Guide to ensure compatibility between the donor board and your drive. Important: Most HDD circuit boards contain unique information stored in the ROM (memory) chip that is essential for the drive to function. That ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If you cannot perform this yourself, a qualified local computer technician should be able to transplant the chip. Service options: For purchases of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service — either transplanting the ROM chip onto your new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
