This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — the hard drive itself is not included. Due to a large on-hand inventory, the actual PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Before purchasing, confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide and checking compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Most hard drive PCBs include unique information stored in a ROM memory chip; that ROM data is required for the drive to function correctly. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can typically perform the transfer. For customers spending $60 or more, we include a complimentary adaptation service that either moves the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
