This sale includes the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the hard drive itself is NOT included. Because we maintain a large inventory, the actual PCB you receive may vary slightly from the image shown. Intended use: repair and data recovery for compatible WD drives. Before ordering, verify that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and confirm part compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Important: most PCBs store unique drive-specific information in a ROM (memory) chip; that data is required for correct operation. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If a physical transfer is possible, a local computer technician can typically perform the chip swap. For customer purchases of $60 or more, we include a complimentary adaptation service—either moving the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the proper ROM data.
